Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company van safely to collect and deliver freight efficiently across the Fairlie-Tekapo area.
- Provide operational support at the depot, including sorting and processing parcels and freight.
- Adhere strictly to company health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring parcels are delivered accurately and on time.
- Assist colleagues with loading, unloading, and other depot or delivery tasks as required.
- Maintain company vehicles in good condition and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Clean, full driver’s license suitable for operating both automatic and manual vans.
- Confident communication skills and ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Good geographic knowledge of the Fairlie-Tekapo area or willingness to learn quickly.
- Previous courier or freight experience is advantageous but not required.
- Physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of up to 25kg.
