  • Use industrial nail guns and power saws skillfully and safely to remove damaged or broken boards from pallet frames and replace them with quality lumber, restoring each pallet to a structurally sound and supply-chain-safe condition
  • Replace boards, reinforce weakened structural areas, and systematically remove and replace nails throughout the repair process, ensuring every rebuilt pallet meets the strict durability and quality standards PLA upholds for their global supply chain customers
  • Make accurate and timely decisions about pallet integrity throughout the production process, understanding that the quality and speed of your assessment directly impacts both the safety of the end product and your personal weekly production performance metrics
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures without exception and wear all required personal protective equipment throughout every shift, including steel-toed boots and any additional PPE required for tool operation and warehouse floor safety
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on assigned tools and equipment, identifying and reporting any issues that could affect safe operation or production efficiency before they escalate into larger problems

  • Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the shift, supporting the broader safety and operational efficiency of the warehouse floor

Qualifications

  • Good hearing sufficient to understand verbal instructions clearly and to detect safety alarms and warning signals within the warehouse environment throughout each shift
  • Excellent vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception capability for detailed pallet inspection and safe navigation of the warehouse environment
  • Genuine willingness and physical readiness to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment that includes exposure to dust, fluctuating temperatures across seasons, and moderate to high noise levels throughout the shift
  • Reliable personal transportation to the facility and availability to work overtime when operational demands require additional hours
  • A self-motivated, production-focused mindset with the drive to continuously improve your Repairs per Hour output and move through the performance-based pay tiers over time
