Key Responsibilities
- Carry out allocated general cleaning duties across guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas
- Clean and service all allocated rooms to brand standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure guest supplies such as toiletries, tea, coffee, and advertising materials are replenished correctly for each room type
- Pay close attention to detail so that every guest arrives to a high level of room cleanliness and presentation
- Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests you encounter during your shift
- Report any maintenance issues, lost property, or damage to the housekeeping supervisor immediately
- Maintain your cleaning trolley and storage areas in an organized and hygienic condition
Qualifications
You must be eligible to work in New Zealand. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential. You need to be physically fit and energetic because this is an active, hands on role with a dynamic team. A keen eye for detail and a passion for quality and presentation are non negotiable.
