Key Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
- Help build and lead a high performing team of hourly Team Members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist with operational support functions including purchasing, receiving, and inventory management as needed.
- Participate in applicant interviews and assist with employee relations, contributing to a strong team culture.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, maintaining compliance with local jurisdiction food safety certification requirements.
- Address and resolve operational challenges with strong problem solving skills, ensuring smooth shift operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and guests, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
At least one year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team is required. Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction is required. Strong problem solving skills are essential. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. A commitment to delivering high levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed is essential.
