Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of makes and models, using state of the art diagnostic equipment.
  • Execute repair tasks and maintenance work meticulously, adhering to checklists and maintaining high quality standards.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, applying strong problem solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

A NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Light Automotive or an equivalent qualification is required. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in automotive servicing and repairs. Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills are essential. A certification in electric vehicles and experience in auto electrical work would be an advantage. A full New Zealand driver’s licence is required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with good customer service and communication skills, is essential. Applicants must have the right to live and work in New Zealand and be able to provide at least two genuine references from within New Zealand.
