Key Responsibilities
- Inspect all linens and terry before loading, separating stained items for soaking to ensure only quality pieces reach guest rooms
- Strip linens from guest rooms efficiently, following proper procedures to maintain a smooth workflow
- Monitor automatic soap dispensing machines to ensure correct chemical amounts are used for each load
- Load articles into washers according to proper weight limits and start machines through automatic cycles
- Transfer clean, wet articles from washers to dryers, setting appropriate time cycles for each load

- Sort and count articles to verify quantities against laundry lists, maintaining accurate inventory records

Qualifications
Less than high school education is acceptable, with up to one month of related experience or training preferred, though a combination of education and experience will be considered. You should be able to read limited two and three syllable words, recognize similarities and differences, and print and speak simple sentences.
