Needed Warehouse And Operations Manager In Singapore

A lean e commerce and retail company in Singapore is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager who is not afraid to start from the ground up. This is not a typical managerial role where you sit in an office and delegate all day. Instead, you will spend your first three to six months doing the actual work: picking and packing orders, unloading containers, organising stock, and running the warehouse systems yourself. Only after you have proven that you understand every process from the inside will you begin to train and lead others. If you are based in Singapore and want a hands on warehouse operations job where your actions directly shape how the business scales, this opportunity is worth your attention. The company needs a builder, not just a supervisor.

Company Overview

The employer is a growing retail and e commerce brand that sells physical products through its own online store and partner retail locations across Singapore. They currently manage around one hundred fifty SKUs and fulfil approximately one hundred cartons per week for retail plus fifty e commerce orders daily. The team is small and lean, typically two to three people in operations. They value structure, discipline, and a willingness to do any task no matter how small. This is not a corporate environment; it is a fast moving business where your contributions will be visible every single day.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute daily warehouse operations including picking and packing for retail fulfilment of roughly one hundred cartons weekly and e commerce orders of about fifty per day
  2. Unload shipping containers one to two times per month, sort inbound inventory, and organise stock into designated storage zones for easy access
  3. Maintain a clean and logical warehouse layout using pallet jacks and basic equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency
  4. Oversee inventory accuracy across all SKUs by managing barcode integrity, stock movement tracking, and performing regular cycle counts
  5. Build and refine warehouse systems using Google Sheets including picking lists, replenishment triggers, and inventory tracking logs
  6. Plan weekly fulfilment schedules for retail store replenishment and e commerce dispatch to ensure timely deliveries to all locations
  7. Train and manage warehouse staff only after systems are stable, stepping back into operational tasks whenever needed

Qualifications

Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar hands on role is required. You do not need a university degree, but you must be comfortable with physical labour including lifting, standing for long hours, and operating manual equipment. Strong attention to detail and operational discipline are non negotiable. You should be able to work confidently with spreadsheets, specifically Google Sheets, for tracking inventory and building simple systems. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who prefers execution over theory. You must be willing to do the work before managing others. Singaporean citizens, permanent residents, and valid work pass holders are welcome to apply.

Benefits and Perks

This full time position offers a monthly salary of SGD 4,500 to SGD 5,500 depending on your experience and ability to work independently. You will join a lean team where your ideas for improving warehouse efficiency will be heard and implemented quickly. The role provides hands on training in warehouse systems and inventory management. You will have the opportunity to grow from an individual contributor into a team leader as the company expands. There is no mention of additional benefits like health insurance or leave, but the company values operational excellence and rewards those who take true ownership of their work.
