Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our electrical team, you will be instrumental in delivering quality work across the Territory. Your role will include:
- Performing a wide variety of general electrical tasks on both domestic and commercial projects, from installations to maintenance.
- Undertaking travel to remote locations for project-based work, with opportunities for ongoing assignments.
- Strictly adhering to and promoting all occupational health and safety standards, including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Working collaboratively within our multi-skilled team to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes for our clients.
- Showing initiative and a willingness to learn, with an eye towards potential supervisory responsibilities in the future.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified and reliable professional with the right attitude for growth. The essentials include:
- A current Australian Electrical Licence (or equivalent) valid for work in the Northern Territory.
- Proven experience in general electrical work within construction and maintenance environments.
- A valid NT Ochre Card (Working with Children Check) and a current National Police Clearance.
- Ownership of your own reliable basic hand tools.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- The flexibility and willingness to travel for remote work as required.
- Previous supervisory experience is advantageous, but not mandatory—we prioritise promoting from within.
