This is a hands-on position where your work directly impacts the safety and efficiency of a professional kitchen environment. Your Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organisation. Your core duties will include:
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising all kitchen tools, utensils, and large equipment.
- Washing, drying, and organising dishes, pots, pans, and other cookware.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all food preparation areas, countertops, and surfaces.
- Assisting with general kitchen operations during busy periods and performing closing clean-down tasks after service.
- Ensuring all waste is disposed of correctly and the kitchen is left in a tidy, sanitary condition.
Job Requirements and Practical Details
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following practical requirements:
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Must be comfortable working in a non-halal environment.
- Must bring your own meals (meals are not provided).
- Must adhere to the dress code of black long pants and black safety shoes (a uniform top will be provided).
- Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- You must be able to commit to the fixed shift for your chosen location.
Position Details and Benefits
We offer two distinct openings with clear terms:
- Changi (Full-Time):
- Shift: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Night Shift)
- Salary: Basic salary of $1,910 per month + overtime, with total monthly earnings up to approximately $2,300.78.
- Jurong (Part-Time):
- Shift: 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM (Evening Shift)
- Salary: $11 to $14 per hour.
Both positions include:
- CPF contributions for eligible candidates.
- Annual leave and medical leave entitlements.
- Training and a uniform provided.
- Fixed shifts at a stable work location.
