We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to oversee operations across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on supervisory position where you will lead a team, manage inventory, ensure top-tier service delivery, and act as the key point of contact for our clients. Key Responsibilities
You will be the operational lead for your assigned sites, balancing managerial duties with hands-on support.
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate all cleaning staff across multiple allocated sites to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage site inventory, including stocktakes, procurement, and timely delivery of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Plan, review, and optimise work schedules and cleaning methodologies to maximise team efficiency.
- Train and mentor new cleaners according to company standards and procedures.
- Build and maintain excellent rapport with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for service matters.
- Handle recruitment, incident management, and all related administrative tasks (both hardcopy and digital).
Qualifications
This supervisory role requires a specific skill set and proven experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cleaning supervisory or team lead capacity.
- A valid Class 3 driving licence is required for site visits and supply management.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for scheduling and reporting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A methodical, organised, and thorough approach to cleaning operations.
- Adaptability and a willingness to implement new processes for continuous improvement.
