Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our driving team, you will be entrusted with critical logistics operations. Your role will involve:
- Safely operating MC-class vehicles, including doubles and triples configurations, for local and interstate linehaul runs.
- Transporting a variety of freight, including temperature-controlled (refrigerated), general, and specialist ‘ugly’ freight, with meticulous care.
- Conducting thorough pre-start checks and ensuring all vehicle and load paperwork is completed accurately.
- Applying expert knowledge of load restraint guidelines and strict compliance with all safety and transport regulations.
- Representing Centurion with professionalism at all customer sites and on the road.
- Upholding our unwavering commitment to creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
To steer your career with Centurion, you will need:
- A current, open MC Driver Licence.
- Proven transport experience with doubles or triples combinations.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration units, general freight, and/or specialist freight handling.
- An impeccable safe driving record and a demonstrable, strong commitment to safety and compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
