What You Will Be Doing
- You will carry out all laundry duties according to the procedures of the Village, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and care.
- You will maintain safe handling of all supplies and equipment, comfortably lifting 15 to 25 pounds as needed.
- You will cooperate with all departments to assure safe, continual operation and efficiency throughout the Village.
- You will review all policy and procedure manuals annually and whenever changes occur, staying informed and compliant.
- You will support and embrace our resident-centred social culture, delivering the highest quality of service to residents, visitors, and team members.
- You will contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone in the Village.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working in a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home setting is considered an asset.
- An understanding of Infection Control and Isolation Protocols is also an asset.
- You are comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including lifting 15 to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- You are reliable, compassionate, and take pride in delivering quality work.
- You embrace a resident-centred approach and enjoy working with seniors.
- You are a team player who cooperates with all departments to ensure smooth operations.
