Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on painted and papered surfaces throughout the entire Bellagio property.
- Complete all assignments as directed by Dispatch or Management, maintaining accurate logbooks of your work.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by patching, taping, texturing, and handling acoustic work with precision.
- Paint surfaces, install wall coverings, and adjust paint colors as needed to match existing finishes.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including conventional and airless spray equipment, to complete work efficiently.
- Maintain constant awareness of cleanliness and safety, following accident prevention protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
- Take pride in every detail, knowing that your work contributes directly to the guest experience.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays (grave shift position).
Preferred:
- Proficiency in all phases of painting and wall covering, including surface preparation, application, and finishing techniques.
- Experience working in luxury hospitality, casinos, or high-end residential settings.
