Key Responsibilities

  • Fill prepared parcel orders received from the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy in full accordance with customer instructions, ensuring every order is correctly matched, picked, and prepared for the manifesting process without error or delay
  • Perform complete parcel manifesting procedures including scanning each parcel, weighing accurately, and applying the correct postage label before sorting and preparing shipments for distribution to the appropriate shipping vendor in accordance with operational timelines
  • Ensure complete and unbroken accountability for every parcel handled within the mail manifesting site, maintaining full traceability from inbound induction through to outbound tendering within the required 12-hour processing window
  • Identify and correctly sort any cross-scanned or mis-labeled parcels, flagging them appropriately for investigation and ensuring they do not enter the outbound stream incorrectly labeled or misdirected
  • Load conveyances for outbound shipments accurately and safely, confirming all loads are correctly organized, secured, and ready for carrier pickup or transfer to the appropriate shipping vendor
  • Report any systemic operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or defective materials to the Shift Supervisor or Lead promptly and clearly so they can be addressed before they impact processing accuracy or throughput
  • Inspect and verify the operational condition of all assigned equipment before beginning work tasks each shift, ensuring all tools, scanners, and machinery are functioning correctly and safely
