Key Responsibilities
- Greet every customer warmly and assist with their shopping needs, offering recommendations and guidance on products
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process purchases, refunds, and exchanges accurately
- Open and close registers following established cash, check, and credit card procedures
- Maintain the sales floor by stocking, tagging, and displaying merchandise, as well as creating price tags and signs
- Answer customer calls according to company guidelines and provide timely, helpful responses
- Demonstrate compliance with safety processes and act in alignment with the company’s core values
- Occasionally travel to other store locations to provide support or assistance as needed
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Honest, accountable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic math skills to handle transactions accurately
- Ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and performing repetitive physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, or reaching
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not required
