Key Responsibilities
- Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical components
- Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, battery replacement, and tire installations
- Install and maintain shock absorbers and check electrical systems to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicles meet quality standards
- Support team members by learning and assisting in daily shop operations
- Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
- Engage with customers professionally to provide advice and explain service outcomes
Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and develop technical automotive skills
- Valid automobile driver’s license required with the ability to drive customer and company vehicles
- Reading, writing, and math skills to follow instructions and perform calculations
- Previous experience in automotive service is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Flexibility to work full or part-time schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
