Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostic work on a range of heavy mobile plant equipment including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr machinery.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostic assessments to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a strong safety first mindset in all activities.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Complete accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and any observations or recommendations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance practices and equipment performance.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Certificate of Proficiency in Automotive Mobile Plant Technology. Proven mining or heavy earthmoving experience is required. Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills are essential. A safety first mindset is critical. Candidates must be committed to delivering high quality workmanship and reliability. The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues is important.

This casual or full time position offers competitive pay rates with a typical annual salary range of AUD 130,000 to AUD 180,000 depending on experience, rosters, and overtime.
