Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labouring tasks as required across various sites and industries including building, civil construction, landscaping, and warehousing.
- Assist with construction, landscaping, and warehousing projects, supporting skilled trades and site supervisors.
- Operate and maintain basic power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and site specific requirements.
- Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard, demonstrating attention to detail and reliability.
- Adapt to new tasks and learn quickly, showing flexibility across different work environments.
Qualifications
A minimum of three months of labouring experience is required. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to use basic power tools. Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s licence is essential for this role. A strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential. The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions is important. Physical fitness and the capability to perform manual labour tasks are required. A White Card is required. A Forklift Licence is preferred but not essential. Candidates must have work authorisation in Australia.
