Key Responsibilities
- Drive and maintain company trucks, ensuring vehicles are kept in good working order and operated safely.
- Load, deliver, set up, and collect hire items, handling all equipment with care and attention to detail.
- Work on site at weddings and events, sometimes solo and sometimes as part of a team, ensuring all items are placed correctly and presented beautifully.
- Provide friendly, professional service to clients, representing the company with reliability and a positive attitude.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately, ensuring all records are maintained for tracking and inventory purposes.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed, helping with equipment preparation, cleaning, and organization.
- Adhere to a safety first approach in all driving and manual handling activities.
Qualifications
A valid MR Medium Rigid licence or higher is required. Candidates must have two or more years of truck driving experience, with event or logistics industry experience preferred. A strong work ethic and a safety first approach are essential. Good communication skills and a customer focused attitude are important. Candidates must be physically fit and able to lift and move equipment safely. Flexibility with hours is required, including availability for some weekends and public holidays as events dictate. A White Card is required. A Forklift Licence is required.
