Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our field maintenance team, you will be responsible for the reliability and performance of critical rail welding equipment. Your role will involve:
- Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on advanced Flash Butt Welding machinery in accordance with strict OEM programs.
- Proactively identifying, diagnosing, and reporting electrical and mechanical faults to ensure minimal downtime.
- Conducting detailed quality inspections across complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Preparing and submitting accurate daily reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and site conditions.
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety, organisation, and cleanliness in all work environments.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified and safety-focused professional who is ready to specialise. You must have:
- A current, full Australian Electrical Licence.
- A solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems (specific Flash Butt Welding training will be provided).
- Proven field-based experience in manufacturing, heavy machinery maintenance, or a similar industrial environment.
- A valid White Card, LVR-CPR certificate, and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
- An exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, safety-first mindset.
- A current HR Licence is highly desirable.
