Key Responsibilities
As the vital link between our technology and our customers, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of our systems on-site. Your core duties will include:
- Installing, configuring, calibrating, and commissioning advanced hardware systems on mining equipment and across site infrastructure.
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance, conducting diagnostics, and executing fault repairs to ensure maximum system uptime.
- Acting as the primary technical conduit between customers on-site and RaptorTech’s internal engineering and support teams.
- Providing professional, clear training and technical support to client personnel.
- Working autonomously to manage your schedule and tasks while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
- Identifying opportunities for system or process improvements and contributing directly to our culture of innovation.
- Upholding the strictest safety, quality, and documentation standards in all work.
Qualifications
We are looking for a practical, customer-focused technician with a solid foundation and the right attitude. The ideal candidate will have:
- A trade or technical background in auto electrical, electrical, telecommunications, or instrumentation.
- Demonstrated strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a field environment.
- A proactive, organised, and self-motivated work ethic, comfortable working independently on a FIFO roster.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine customer-focused approach.
- The ability to adapt quickly, learn new technologies, and thrive in remote site conditions.
