Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the PCBA Supervisor, you will be the guardian of product quality and reliability. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed fault finding, recording, and repair of electronic components and assemblies at the board level.
- Executing a variety of performance, functional, and environmental tests on components, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), and finished products.
- Following technical manuals, schematics, and test plans with precision to ensure all products meet stringent quality and performance standards.
- Utilising a range of sophisticated test and measurement equipment to diagnose and verify electronic systems.
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying issues and ensuring only perfect products proceed to the next stage.
Qualifications
We are looking for a technician with strong foundational skills and the right attitude. Comprehensive training will be provided for our specific products.
- Essential: A deep, practical understanding of electrical circuits, components, and the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Essential: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical fault-finding and board-level repairs.
- Essential: Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to working with intricate components.
- Essential: Proficiency with electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and soldering/desoldering tools.
