About the Role
This is a fixed-term contract position with strong potential for extension based on performance and operational needs. The role is ideal for someone who values a structured Monday-to-Friday schedule in a clean, professional office environment conveniently located near an MRT station. Please note: This position does not involve any toilet cleaning duties.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your role will be integral to the daily operations and welcoming atmosphere of our office and lab.
- Maintain overall office and laboratory cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floor areas.
- Clean windows, walls, and all glass surfaces to ensure a bright, clear environment.
- Manage office waste by emptying all trash bins and ensuring proper disposal.
- Monitor and restock pantry and cleaning supplies proactively.
- Prepare coffee, water, and refreshments for visitors and staff.
- Provide light administrative support such as scanning documents, handling mail, receiving parcels, and couriering documents to our Tiong Bahru office.
- Assist with basic laboratory tasks: receiving lab items, cleaning apparatus and glassware, loading the drying oven, organizing lab cabinets, and delivering items for autoclaving at a nearby building.
- Oversee and facilitate scheduled monthly maintenance with our air-conditioning vendor.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties to support office and lab operations.

- Must be a Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Highly organized, independent, and able to manage a varied task list efficiently.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling laboratory glassware and equipment.
- A responsible and trustworthy work ethic, capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Good physical fitness to handle cleaning tasks and move between buildings if required.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to support the team in multiple areas.
