About the Role
This is a structured apprenticeship position designed to teach you the trade. You will work alongside experienced carpenters and tradespeople, gaining practical, on-the-job experience in every phase of building a home. You’ll progress from foundational tasks to detailed finish work, developing a well-rounded skill set that sets you up for long-term success in the construction industry.
What You’ll Do and Learn
You’ll be an active member of the construction crew, contributing to real projects while you learn.
- Assist with and learn all stages of residential construction, starting from foundation layout and formwork to framing, sheathing, and roofing.
- Participate in interior work such as installing windows and doors, framing walls and partitions, and hanging drywall.
- Progress to detailed finish carpentry, including installing trim, molding, cabinetry, and hardwood flooring.
- Learn to safely and effectively use a wide range of hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow building plans and instructions from lead carpenters and supervisors.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times.
- Take on increasing responsibility as your skills and experience grow throughout your apprenticeship.

- Preferred (but not required): Any previous experience on a construction site or familiarity with basic tools.
