Key Responsibilities
You will be a vital part of our warehouse team, taking on a variety of tasks to ensure efficient operations. Your key duties will include:
- Safely operating a forklift (FLT) to receive inbound goods, store products, and manage stock movements.
- Picking customer orders accurately using handheld scanning technology to locate items within the warehouse.
- Carefully packing orders with appropriate materials to ensure products are delivered to customers safely and in perfect condition.
- Performing stock management duties, including stock rotation and maintaining accurate inventory records in our systems.
- Keeping the warehouse organised, clean, and free from hazards to uphold our stringent safety standards.
- Adhering to all critical safety rules and procedures, actively contributing to a zero-harm work environment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Forklift Licence (FLT) is essential.
- Proven experience in a similar warehousing, stores, or distribution environment.
- A stable and reliable career track record demonstrating your commitment and work ethic.
- A strong, inherent commitment to workplace health and safety, with a proactive approach to hazard identification.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow processes accurately.
- Good physical fitness for a role that involves manual handling, standing, and operating machinery.
