Spectrum Health Care is looking for caring individuals to join our team as casual Driver Companions in the Peel Region (Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke). In this unique role, you’ll do more than drive you’ll provide companionship and essential support, helping clients stay connected to their community by safely taking them to appointments, errands, and outings.

Key Responsibilities
Your role is a blend of safe transportation and meaningful companionship. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely driving clients to and from various destinations such as medical appointments, grocery stores, and social outings.
- Providing friendly conversation, emotional reassurance, and genuine companionship during travel.
- Assisting clients with getting in and out of the vehicle and with carrying groceries or parcels.
- Being an attentive observer, communicating any concerns or changes in a client’s condition to Spectrum Health Care management.
- Ensuring a comfortable, respectful, and supportive experience for every client.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable and empathetic individuals who meet the following criteria:
- A valid Ontario G-class driver’s license and consistent access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- A clean driver’s abstract.
- A compassionate nature and a genuine passion for helping others, particularly seniors or those needing assistance.
- Successful completion of a Two-Step TB Test (within the last year).
- Please Note: A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate (referred to as Class 07 Rider in this context) is required as a condition of employment.
