Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the face of our service, entrusted to maintain high standards in our clients’ homes. Your core tasks will include:

• Performing a full range of standard residential cleaning duties to a meticulous standard, including vacuuming carpets and soft furnishings, and mopping hard floors.
• Thoroughly cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorising kitchens and bathrooms, paying close attention to fixtures and surfaces.
• Dusting and polishing furniture, shelving, and household items throughout the home.
• Cleaning interior windows and glass surfaces to a streak-free finish.
• Tidying rooms, emptying bins, and handling rubbish and recycling appropriately.
• Managing your time and tasks efficiently between scheduled client sites.
• Interacting politely and professionally with clients or their pets when present, always respecting their privacy and property.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

To be successful and thrive in this independent position, you will need:

• A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in residential-domestic cleaning or professional housekeeping.
• The legal right to work in New Zealand permanently (NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident, or relevant visa holder).
• Your own reliable vehicle and a current, valid driver’s licence to travel between client sites in the Auckland area.
• A mobile phone with data for scheduling and communication.
• Excellent physical fitness for the demands of the role, including bending, lifting, and being active throughout your shift.
• A positive, can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work unsupervised with high integrity.
• Sound knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the use of different chemicals and equipment.
• Comfort working in homes with pets and the flexibility to work rostered weekend shifts when required.
