Key Responsibilities
As a professional driver with Double J Transport, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of temperature-controlled freight.
- Safely operate a newer Freightliner Cascadia to transport reefer freight across all 48 contiguous states (excluding NYC and its five boroughs).
- Handle 100% no-touch freight with some drop-and-hook opportunities to maximize your driving time.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies, ensuring logs and vehicle inspections are completed accurately.
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and represent the company positively at all times.
Qualifications
We are looking for safe, experienced drivers who meet our foundational criteria.
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience with a Class A CDL is mandatory.
- A clean driving record and a commitment to safety are essential.
- Must be willing to run nationwide routes.
