Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to become proficient in high-precision repair operations. Your primary learning and operational duties will include:
- Learning to set up, calibrate, program, and operate sophisticated automated welding and laser machining equipment to meet strict engine component repair specifications.
- Performing scheduled maintenance, process control checks, and general housekeeping for the machines and their associated work areas.
- Assisting experienced technicians in process improvement projects, which may involve fixture design, programming enhancements, or maintenance tasks.
- Successfully completing all required internal and external examinations and proficiency tests throughout the traineeship.

Qualifications
This program is designed for Singaporean fresh graduates who meet specific academic and citizenship criteria:
- Eligibility: You must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, and within 3 years of graduation from ITE/Polytechnic or your Operationally Ready Date (ORD) for National Service.
- Education: A relevant full-time qualification such as a Nitec-Higher Nitec in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Aircraft Maintenance, or a Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical field from a local ITE or Polytechnic.
- Commitment: Willingness to work rotating shifts and accept a 1-year training bond upon completion of the program.
- Skills: Professional working proficiency in English (reading and writing) and a strong foundational interest in engineering and hands-on technical work.
