Key Responsibilities
As a Casual Labourer, you’ll work as part of a team to keep outdoor spaces looking great while ensuring safety for yourself, your team, and residents.
- Mow small plant areas to maintain tidy, well-presented spaces.
- Perform weeding, pruning, and hedge trimming tasks as needed.
- Assist with developing new garden beds and landscapes.
- Hand-pull weeds and support general vegetation control efforts.
- Undertake general labour duties as required to support the team.
- Follow all health and safety practices to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. No prior experience is required—if you enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you.
Essential Qualities:
- A full, current driver’s licence (experience driving manual is preferred).
- A solid work ethic and a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices (or a willingness to learn).
- Good communication skills, as you may interact with residents and community members.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including bending, lifting, and working outdoors.
- In accordance with the company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy, the successful applicant will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance.
