Key Responsibilities
As a casual team member, you’ll work across multiple workstreams, gaining experience in a variety of tasks. No two days will look the same, and teamwork will be key to success.
- Perform gardening and horticulture duties, including planting, pruning, and general grounds maintenance.
- Operate mowers across parks, reserves, and open spaces to maintain tidy, well-presented areas.
- Support response and repairs work, including reactive maintenance tasks as they arise.
- Assist across the wider team during busy periods and when covering annual leave.
- Contribute to project-based work and seasonal peaks, adapting to changing needs.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself, your team, and the community.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for individuals with a positive, flexible attitude and a willingness to learn. Experience is preferred but not essential—what matters most is your commitment to delivering quality outcomes for the community.
Essential Qualities:

- Comfort operating equipment or a willingness to learn.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of outdoor work.
- In accordance with the company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy, successful candidates will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- Experience in gardening, horticulture, mowing, or outdoor maintenance.
- A full, clean driver licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles and tow trailers.
