Key Responsibilities
- Apply paint coatings to industrial equipment, structures, and surfaces using spraying, rolling, and brushing techniques.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure proper adhesion and a quality finish.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve the exact finishes and coatings required for each job.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to keep yourself and your coworkers safe.
- During downtime, assist with shop maintenance tasks like sweeping and organizing work areas.
- Take pride in your work, knowing that quality matters and attention to detail is valued.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in painting techniques and equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently when needed and also collaborate as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to eventually transition to full-time employment.
- Resume submission and interview are required.
Preferred:
- Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to painting and coatings.
