Key Responsibilities

• Plant, Cultivate, and Irrigate Crops: Assist with planting tobacco, maintaining crops throughout the growing season, and operating automated irrigation systems.
• Harvest Crops: Participate in the tobacco harvest, working efficiently to ensure crops are collected at the right time.
• Apply Hoeing Techniques: Perform manual hoeing between rows to control weeds and maintain soil health.
• Remove Suckers and Water Sprouts: Manually remove all suckers and water sprouts from tobacco plants to ensure healthy growth and quality yield.
• Operate Automated Irrigation System: Use and monitor the automated irrigation system to ensure crops receive adequate water.
• Perform General Farm Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed to support overall farm operations.

Work Environment

• Outdoors: Work in all weather conditions hot, dusty, and wet/damp.
• Chicken Farming: May involve working in proximity to chicken farming operations.
• At Heights: Some tasks may require working at heights.
• Noisy and Odours: Be prepared for farm environments with typical noise and odours.
• Tobacco: Daily contact with tobacco crops.

Requirements
