Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest apartments and public areas according to Mantra Nelson Bay standards
- Maintain linen, toiletries, and housekeeping stock to ensure constant availability
- Undertake special cleaning projects as assigned to maintain resort presentation
- Follow procedures for handling lost property items accurately and responsibly
- Communicate maintenance issues to supervisors promptly to ensure timely resolution
- Uphold a high standard of hygiene and safety in all work areas
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet daily operational goals
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not essential
- Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
- Professional grooming and presentation at all times
- Local residents are highly regarded, and candidates must be available to work weekends
- Flexibility to commit to a minimum three-month casual contract
