Warehouse Clerk Jobs In United States

BD (Becton, Dickinson, and Company), in partnership with Waters Corporation, is seeking an Export Documentation Specialist to join our Global Distribution Center in Covington, GA. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of export documentation for Bard shipments while coordinating with internal teams, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and global partners.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. This is a first-shift, Monday to Friday role (9:00 am – 5:30 pm) with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare commercial invoices and shipper’s letters of instruction for all export shipments, including IFE processes
  • Arrange for pick-ups with assigned freight forwarders
  • Coordinate with customs, brokers, and FDA to ensure traceability of import and export shipments
  • Provide freight quotes for parcel and non-parcel shipments
  • Process shipments through FedEx, DHL, UPS, and Express Mail; request FedEx SEDs when applicable
  • Generate and update detailed monthly reports on international shipments and carrier activity
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in JDE, MFG-Pro, and High Jump WMS systems
  • Print, pick, and bill orders in MFG-Pro; batch and wave work to the floor using wave planning software
  • Correct and resubmit failed orders, enter new items, and set up pick locations in High Jump
  • Cross-train in other clerical and operational duties within the International department
  • Follow all policies, SOPs, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure compliance
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including adherence to warehouse safety procedures and ergonomics

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or 1 year equivalent experience
  • 2–3 years of international transportation or distribution experience preferred
  • Knowledge of GDC QMS and proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with High Jump, JDE, and MFG-Pro systems is highly desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact across departments and regions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter who can prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Ability to operate safely in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks

Physical Requirements

  • Regular walking, standing, sitting, reaching, typing, and manual handling
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Work is performed on the warehouse floor with exposure to hot/cold temperatures, moving machinery, and moderate noise levels

  • On-site presence required; flexible schedule and overtime may be necessary

Salary and Benefits

  • Market-based salary: USD $48,000 – $58,000 annually for full-time employees
