Key Responsibilities
- Travel with a team to client homes in Eastwood, Epping, and surrounding areas, providing thorough cleaning services tailored to individual needs
- Perform general cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms to a high standard
- Assist with laundry, changing bed linens, and organizing living spaces to ensure clients feel comfortable and cared for
- Communicate with clients in both Chinese and English, listening to their preferences and adapting your approach to suit each household
- Work collaboratively with your crew members to complete daily schedules efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Respect client privacy and dignity at all times, particularly when working with NDIS participants and older adults receiving Home Care support
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to the team leader promptly
Qualifications
Fluency in both Chinese and English is essential for this role, as you will be communicating with a diverse range of clients and team members. Having your own vehicle is preferred to assist with travel between locations, though carpooling with the crew may be arranged. You must be comfortable working as part of a close knit team and willing to travel with crew members to different sites. While prior cleaning experience is beneficial, a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to support others matter most. Female applicants are being sought for this role to align with client preferences in NDIS and Aged Care settings. A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one is highly regarded.
