Key Responsibilities
- Disinfect Pens, Barns, and Poultry Houses: Maintain clean and sanitary conditions for poultry.
- Handle Animals: Assist with handling poultry as part of daily operations.
- Clean Barns and Barnyards: Keep stables, barns, barnyards, and pens clean and tidy.
- Perform General Farm Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed to support farm operations.
Work Environment
- Outdoors and Indoors: Work in both outdoor environments and inside poultry barns.
- At Heights and Confined Spaces: Be prepared to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
- Dusty, Noisy, and Odours: Typical poultry farm conditions.
- Temperature Variations: Work in hot, cold/refrigerated, wet/damp, and all weather conditions.
- Dirty Work: Be prepared for hands-on, physical work that can get messy.
- Rural Setting: Located in a rural area with no public transportation available.
Requirements
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train o previous experience necessary.
- Transportation: Own transportation is required as public transportation is not available.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Start Date: Must be available to start on the date listed in the job posting.
- Location: Must live near the job location or be willing to relocate.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
