Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily course setup, ensuring greens, tees, and fairways are prepared to the highest standards for play.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, raking, and bunker maintenance.
- Operate a range of modern turf management equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out horticultural tasks such as irrigation management, pest control, and turf renovation as required.
- Work collaboratively with the turf management team to maintain the course’s pristine appearance.
- Take pride in attention to detail, ensuring every area of the course reflects the property’s luxury reputation.
- Support the team during scheduled weekend rotations, with every third weekend required.
Qualifications
Previous experience on golf courses, in horticulture, or in garden maintenance is preferred. A strong attention to detail and a self motivated approach are essential. Candidates must enjoy working outdoors and have a genuine interest in turf management or a passion for golf. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is important. Reliability and a strong work ethic are key. A full driver’s licence is required.
