Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve and accurately place the correct quantities of product cases onto pre-determined pallets as instructed by the assigned Pick Ticket or computer screen, building stable, safe, and correctly organized pallet loads that meet or exceed all warehouse safety, accuracy, and efficiency expectations on every order fulfilled
- Travel throughout the warehouse pick area consistently and efficiently, navigating the floor with focus and physical stamina to complete assigned pick sequences accurately and within the timeframes the operation requires
- Transport completed pallets of stacked product to designated areas throughout the warehouse using a Powered Industrial Truck, specifically a pallet jack, operating the equipment safely, smoothly, and in full compliance with all relevant safety procedures and company operating guidelines
- Perform the daily PIT equipment checklist before operating the pallet jack each shift, identifying and promptly reporting any mechanical issues, safety concerns, or equipment defects to warehouse management before they create risk or operational disruption
- Identify and correct any product or quantity errors discovered during the picking or checking process, working collaboratively with the Checker and warehouse team to resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately without impacting the overall order fulfillment timeline
- Assist with warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned or as needed throughout the shift, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment across all areas of the pick floor
- Adapt to shifting work area assignments and varying daily responsibilities as directed by warehouse management, meeting the minimum performance expectations of each different function throughout the workday
- Support the broader efficient operation of the warehouse by taking initiative on value-add tasks, proactively identifying opportunities to improve workflow, and stepping in wherever the team needs an extra hand during peak demand periods

- Physical capability to work at a sustained, fast pace while walking continuously and repetitively lifting 30 pounds throughout the full shift, with the ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis

- Ability to coordinate and maintain efficient, dependable warehouse processes across multiple pick areas and product categories throughout the workday
