Key Responsibilities
As a dedicated driving team, you will share the responsibility of safe and timely cross-border transport. Your joint duties will include:
- Safely operating as a team on designated long-haul routes throughout Canada and the United States.
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your assigned tractor and trailer.
- Maintaining impeccable safe driving practices and ensuring on-time delivery of all loads.
- Maintaining clear, professional communication with dispatch and customers throughout your trip.
- Managing your shared schedule and hours of service effectively as a coordinated team.
Qualifications
This role is exclusively for established driving teams. To qualify, your team must possess:
- Both drivers must hold a valid Class 1 (AZ) license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Both drivers must be eligible to cross the U.S. border and pass a background check.
- A shared willingness to be on the road for extended periods with a flexible schedule, including weekend departures.
- A strong, professional work ethic, commitment to safety, and excellent teamwork skills.
- A FAST Card is a beneficial asset for border crossings.
