Key Responsibilities
In this varied and hands-on role, you will be the face of Pathfinder’s technical support, ensuring optimal performance for our clients. Your key duties will include:
- Conducting advanced fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of complex automated cutting systems.
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime and reliability.
- Leading new machine installations and commissioning at customer sites.
- Providing professional training and ongoing technical support to customers.
- Supporting a wide range of stakeholders, including local, interstate, and international clients, which will involve regular travel.
- Upholding the highest standards of health and safety in all work environments.
Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and technically adept professional with the following attributes:
- A basic electronics certificate or proven, hands-on understanding of electronic and computer-controlled systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness and ability to travel interstate and internationally as required.
- Strong general computer skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- A current Australian driver’s licence and must be COVID vaccinated.
- Excellent English communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a strong commitment to safety.
- Australian citizenship is required.
- Previous field service experience is preferred, but a proven technical ability and the right attitude are paramount.
