What You’ll Be Doing

  • Getting stuck into a fantastic variety of civil work think subdivision development, roading projects, and underground asset upgrades that are transforming local infrastructure.
  • Operating the machines you know and love, whether that’s excavators, rollers, loaders, moxies, water carts, or graders and stabilisers if you’ve got those skills.
  • Working across multiple long-term sites, from the central city to some of the most beautiful rural and coastal locations in the South Island.
  • Being part of projects with real community impact these aren’t just holes in the ground, they’re new subdivisions, better roads, and upgraded services that people will use every day.
  • Jumping off the machine when needed to lend a hand and be a genuine team player on site.
  • Keeping safety front of mind and taking pride in delivering quality work, day in and day out.

What We’re Looking For

  • You hold a Class 1 to 4 licence, ideally with your W, T, and R endorsements the more tickets, the better.
  • You’ve got proven experience operating one or more types of civil machinery, such as rollers, excavators, loaders, plate compactors, moxys, or water carts. If you’re a Grader or Stabiliser operator, you’ll definitely catch our attention.
  • You’re reliable, punctual, and take genuine pride in your work showing up ready to go is half the battle.
  • You’re a true team player who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed, even if it means stepping off the machine for a bit.
  • You’re comfortable passing a drug test and a criminal background check standard stuff for the industry.
  • Salary Ranges 19$ per hr depends on experience
  • You’ve worked in a civil environment before and understand how sites run safely and efficiently.
