Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the Warehouse Support team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching for professional development
- Maintain inventory accuracy by overseeing regular stock checks and daily cycle counts, addressing discrepancies immediately
- Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipment of orders to meet customer deadlines and production requirements
- Enforce safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment, ensuring the team follows all workplace safety regulations
- Oversee the maintenance of material handling equipment, collaborating with suppliers to schedule servicing without disrupting operations
- Maintain accurate documentation on warehouse activities, including near miss reports, incident cases, and corrective actions
- Address operational challenges like shipment delays or inventory shortages promptly and effectively
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce costs
- Provide backup support for the Warehouse Specialist by assisting with receiving MRO spare parts and incoming raw materials
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum O level, Certificate, or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management, combined with at least five years of relevant experience. You should possess a valid forklift driving license and be familiar with warehouse material handling equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required, along with experience using ERP systems. A Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification is preferred, as is the ability to drive continuous improvement using Root Cause Analysis and Lean Basics. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well under stress are essential. A positive attitude, reliability, and adaptability to changing priorities will set you apart.
