Key Responsibilities
You will be entrusted with the hands-on creation and care of our contracted gardens, from design to daily maintenance.
- Design, create, and maintain beautiful gardens according to client specifications and detailed plans, implementing best planting practices.
- Source plants and materials, and oversee the day-to-day horticultural operations of designated sites.
- Perform a full range of gardening duties including planting, weeding, pruning, spraying (chemical application), weed eating (line trimming), and vegetation control.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with the Operations Manager and clients, promptly reporting any issues or concerns.
- Ensure all work is carried out with an unwavering focus on safety, quality, and compliance with all company and industry standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified professional with both technical skill and a proactive attitude.
- A Level 3 or 4 National Certificate in Horticulture (or equivalent) is required.
- A full, clean driver’s licence with manual driving capability is essential.
- Solid, hands-on experience in gardening and horticulture, with strong knowledge of plant species and their maintenance needs.
- Proven ability to accurately interpret and execute detailed garden plans and designs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for professional client and community engagement.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
