Key Responsibilities
You will be the specialist ensuring our sports fields are always match-ready and visually outstanding.
- Operate ride-on and other mowing equipment to execute scheduled mowing of various sports parks, ensuring optimal turf health and presentation.
- Perform detailed finishing work including weed eating (line trimming) and edging to maintain pristine field boundaries and surrounds.
- Conduct basic routine maintenance on mowers and equipment to ensure they remain in safe, excellent working condition.
- Work to precise client specifications and quality standards, taking pride in delivering consistently high-quality playing surfaces.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies and procedures while operating machinery and working in public spaces.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable operator with a passion for outdoor work and quality.
- A full, current driver’s licence with manual transmission capability is essential; a Class 2 licence is a valuable advantage.
- Experience operating small plant and ride-on mowers is preferred.
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role and enjoyment of working outdoors in all conditions.
- A strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and pride in a job well done.
- A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Basic computer skills for equipment reporting are beneficial.
