 Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will balance precision driving with active warehouse support. Your daily mission includes:

  • Executing local and interstate trips (both in-state and out-of-state) to deliver products to warehouses and storage bins.
  • Handling the daily loading and unloading of snack products, ensuring everything is properly secured on your truck.
  • Performing rigorous pre- and post-trip DOT inspections and keeping your logbooks meticulously updated.
  •  When not on a route, assisting with warehouse operations to keep our Durham facility running like clockwork.
  • Serving as the professional face of Wise Foods by securing customer signatures and maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor.
  • Capturing pre- and post-delivery photographs and down-stacking products at storage bins with total accuracy.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced road professional who takes pride in their equipment.

  • Licensing: A valid CDL Class A license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is mandatory.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of professional driving experience and a valid DOT Card held for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Physical Stamina: The ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and handle the physical demands of loading and unloading.
  • Integrity: Ability to pass all DOT physical requirements and a drug screening.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Soft Skills: Strong customer service skills and the ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
