Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our regional fleet, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient transport of construction materials. Your core duties will include:
- Safely operating an AZ-equipped tractor and flatbed trailer on regional routes throughout Ontario and Quebec.
- Ensuring all loads are properly secured, tarped, and untarped in accordance with safety regulations.
- Performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your dedicated tractor and trailer.
- Adhering to all hours-of-service regulations and maintaining accurate logbooks.
- Providing professional, courteous service during loading, unloading, and customer interactions.
- Upholding our unwavering commitment to safety and on-time delivery.
Qualifications
To be successful in this specialized role, you must possess:
- A valid AZ (Class 1) driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Proven flatbed experience is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- A strong safety-first mindset and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- The ability to work independently through the week and be home on weekends.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and cross provincial borders between ON and PQ.
