We’re looking for an Indoor Farm Assistant to join our team in Singapore, helping maintain a productive and clean indoor farming environment. It’s a part-time role with consistent morning hours, perfect for someone who wants their afternoons free while contributing to something tangible.
About the Company
We’re an indoor farming operation focused on growing fresh produce in a controlled environment right here in Singapore. With limited land and a push for local food production, indoor farming is playing a bigger role in feeding our community. Our team is small, hands-on, and committed to doing things properly. We’re looking for someone responsible who can work independently, follow instructions, and take pride in keeping the farm running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain the Farm Environment: You’ll be responsible for the general upkeep of the indoor farm making sure conditions are right for the plants and everything is in order.
- Keep Things Clean: Cleanliness is critical in an indoor farm. You’ll help maintain a tidy workspace, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Track and Record Data: You’ll collect and enter data as needed, helping us monitor growing conditions, yields, and other important metrics.
- Support the Team: When other tasks come up, you’ll be ready to help out. The team works together, and everyone pitches in when needed.
- Follow Instructions: You’ll take direction from the person in charge and complete tasks reliably and responsibly.
What We’re Looking For
- Basic Computer Skills: You should have basic proficiency with Microsoft Office for data entry and record-keeping.
- English Proficiency: You need to be able to understand instructions and communicate with the team in basic English.
- Flexible Attitude: While the hours are set, we need someone who’s adaptable and willing to discuss scheduling as needed.
- Team Player: You’ll be part of a small team, so being able to work well with others is important.
- A competitive hourly wage of $19.66.
- Independent and Responsible: Once you know what needs to be done, you should be able to get on with it without someone watching over your shoulder.
- Singaporeans or SPR Only: Due to work pass requirements, we’re only able to consider Singaporeans or Permanent Residents for this role.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday: 8:30am to 1:00pm
- This is a consistent morning schedule, giving you your afternoons and evenings free.
