Key Responsibilities

As a Regional Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company on the road, responsible for the complete delivery cycle. Your key duties will include:

  • Safely operating and driving vans or light trucks to pick up and deliver various products and items across a regional territory.
  • Providing exceptional, professional customer service at every stop, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Loading, unloading, sorting, preparing, packaging, and restocking goods with care and accuracy.
  • Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any issues.
  • Assembling, installing, and setting up merchandise or products at delivery points as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records of items received and delivered, trip mileage, fuel costs, and any delivery notes.
  • Communicating effectively with central dispatch to receive instructions and relay updates.

Qualifications

This role requires a specific skill set and a proactive attitude. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid Class 5F-G Driver’s Licence (or equivalent for cars and small two-axle trucks).
  • 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, with a strong background in truck/delivery driving.
  • The ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong personal suitability traits: client focus, reliability, dependability, initiative, punctuality, and sound judgment.
  • Must have your own cellular phone for communication.
  • A clean criminal record check is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada, available for shift/on-call work, and willing to relocate for the position. Flexibility for early morning, evening, day, and weekend shifts is essential.
