Key Responsibilities
As a Linen and Laundry Aide, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the Environmental Services team.
Process linens through industrial laundry equipment, including washing, drying, and folding.
- Transport clean and soiled linens to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of linen inventory and laundry activities.
- Ensure laundry areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Handle cleaning supplies safely, following all established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements:
- Grade 10 education or equivalent.
- Ability to handle cleaning supplies safely and follow established procedures.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift/move linens as required.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- Industrial laundry experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or institutional setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management and record-keeping.
Compensation
- Annual Salary: CA$30,000 – CA$60,000 per year (based on experience)
- Shifts: Day and Evening shifts available
